Simulation Summit
Where Espionage, Education, and Imagination Converged

On February 18, 2025, at the Royal Canadian Military Institute, an extraordinary gathering unfolded—one where tabletop games met tactical thinking, where spycraft crossed paths with storytelling, and where students, educators, and intelligence professionals came together to explore the future of recruitment and training in the Simulation Century.
Hosted by Seneca College, Real Spy Comics, and UltiSim, and captured live by Definitive Film, this event wasn’t just another conference—it was a collaborative, immersive experiment. Participants dove into interactive workshops designed to reveal the power of serious games as tools for simulating complex decisions and high-stakes environments.

Connect with human stories
In his keynote presentation, Adam Leslie—former public servant, respected member of the intelligence community, and CEO of Real Spy Comics—reminds us of the true heart of intelligence: human beings and their stories.
While secrecy is often necessary to safeguard national security, Leslie and Real Spy Comics are shifting the narrative—creating new, thoughtful avenues for members of the intelligence community to share their experiences in safe and meaningful ways.
At a time when recruitment numbers are at record lows, it has never been more urgent to recognize the human element behind every intelligence operation.
By transforming personal accounts into graphic novels, Real Spy Comics gives voice to those who have long been required to remain silent.
In telling these stories, Real Spy Comics sheds light on the unseen individuals who risk their lives in the shadows of redactions and classified files—humanizing a world so often defined by secrecy.
